Reduced to stolen glances and secret meetings as they await a betrothal the Council is bent on stalling, William and Bryn have to settle for happily right now, but with a man like William Hayward at her side, Bryn's hardly settling.

The day John Townsend sends an army of immortal mercenaries intent on destroying everyone Bryn loves, she must make the decision generations of star-crossed lovers before her have-live alone or die together. William has made his decision; Bryn is the one fate's waiting on.

But fate will only wait so long until it makes the decision for her.

What to say, what to say? It was another fun-to-read joyride. XD I really enjoyed the characters, and despite certain silly events, I really enjoyed the plot line once again. I couldn't wait to pick up the next one.

ok, so I liked the overall story and the direction the series is taking but I have a few issues with this installment. First of all, I don't mind my romances having some angst... but I like to part of the angst, not looking in from a totally different perspective. It should draw you in and make you feel it rather than being an all knowing observer fored to do nothing but alternate between rolling you eyes, growling, and yelling at your e-reader.

For example, Bryn managed to misinterpret EVERYTHING! I get that she has severe self esteem issues (for no apparent reason so far in the story) but I mentally challenged monkey would not be as oblivious as she is. Ditto for William.

Secondly, I feel like some pretty important things have gone undescussed while other less important things have been discuss at length.

And finally.. this book tries to hard to be a YA read. I don't understand why though, I mean in the first book it was the same way but then all of the sudden John calls Bryn a whore (seemed so out of place when all of the characters say "darn"). The in this book they are constantly saying things like "I'll kick your you-know-what" and "Let's get away from this cluster f-bomb" I am not editing, that is how they said it. Who talks like that?

Sorry that this is vague but it is the best I can do without spoilers and to me, a review that includes spoilers is not so much a review and more like a book report. I will be reading the rest of the series because while some of the dialogue and character's comprehension levels bother me, I like the story being told and want to see how it ends. Let's hope the final installment is better.

In the second story, things start to get crazy. Bryn has a future that may be not what she wanted. For me, this book drama and the rules around the society is awesome. I really liked the oppression that Byrn is put under. Despite what obstacle she faces, she still loves and sacrifice everything for William. For a moment, I was sad that everything has to be so difficult for them. UGH! Why can't love between two people be easy for once! Because some loves are just wroth fighting for.Of course you can expect the love interest to be strained. Expect harsh words, wall-building, and roller coaster ride of emotions enough to break your heart 100 different ways. At least int the end, things are finally getting set straight.Fallen Eden, is what the title describes. Falling inn love, falling in the wrong places and wrong times. Everything failing this couple life and right. Fallen Eden is a compelling story that makes you want ton stand up against all the rules! It's exciting yet witty!
