      The best book of the series-so far.
      I love this author's way of revealing her story. I can "see" it as if there was a DVD playing in my head. Thank you for the hours of enjoyment.

      I just love these mysteries. I'm not sure why, but they feel like "comfort reading" (or listening, as the narrator Xe Sands plays a large role in what I like about the stories). I don't really relate to Lily from my own personal experience, but I really like her as a character, and I enjoy spending time in the world she inhabits.

      I enjoyed this book, it seemed realistic, no frippery, nothing too outrageous, no over-the-top drama, no mindless chatter or stupidity.

      This was a fast, easy & satisfying read.

      This is a good book in an entertaining series. While Lily's relationships wit many of her recent friends and associates are not primary here, it does address her relationship with her sketchy father, as well as depicting various complications that seem to be demon-created. Lily's mojo isn't as effective this time around, though, since her affinity is for textiles and the McGuffin is a piece of jewelry...It was a fairly quick and fun read, and I liked the time spent with Oscar, and that Sailor has re-entered the picture.If you like fairly cozy mysteries with a magical component, you'll probably like this series.

      This installment in the Witchcraft series is as enjoyable as all of the previous books. The characters continue to grow and blend into a believable community in San Francisco. The writing is strong and the plot lines completely engaging. I highly recommend this book!

      4.5 stars. Excellent read I didn't want to put down until it was over. The characters feel like friends at this point and it's nice to 'visit' with them at Aunt Cora's Closet.

      The plot line is a big one - maybe a teensy bit too big even for the suspension of disbelief - but a fun one. Even though the 'bad guys' are clear from the beginning, the villain of the murder wasn't at all and surprised me a bit.

      I'd have liked to see a bit more of Sailor but at least he puts in his appearance eventually. Some explanations of behaviour would be nice too. But I can't wait until I get to visit the gang again. I'm only sorry I'll have to wait another year to do it.

      My least favorite book of the series to this point. It seemed a lot darker than the others, and I prefer my cozy mysteries to be a little more light and fun. However, I do hope that Ms. Blackwell will further explore the relationship between Lily and her father, Declan.

Suspecting another practitioner was at the fair, she’s taken by surprise when fires ignite and panic flares. When all is said and done, one of the merchants is found dead—murdered in such a way that it could have been history repeating the witch hunts.With a crime that hits close to home, Lily turns only to find herself facing her long-gone father—and the police’s prime suspect. Regardless of their painful past, Lily is determined to clear his name and solve the murder.An extraordinarily entertaining read and smashing addition to the A Witchcraft Mystery series.
