About this audiobook
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
“We’re back on affluent suburban Long Island—Isaacs country—and she doesn’t miss a beat or a bet when describing its inhabitants.” —New York Times Book Review
Written with her trademark style, effervescent charm, and snappy wit, New York Times bestselling author Susan Isaacs delivers a delicious and insightful look at love and marriage—and homicide.
The day after her lavish wedding anniversary bash, Rosie Meyers gets a big surprise: Her nouveau riche husband, Richie, is leaving her for a sultry, sophisticated, size-six MBA. So, when he's found murdered in their exquisitely appointed kitchen, no one is surprised to find Rosie's prints all over the weapon.
The suburban English teacher is the prime suspect—the police's only suspect. And she knows she'll spend the rest of her life in the prison library unless she can unmask the real killer. Going into Manhattan on the lam, Rosie learns more about Richie than she ever wanted to know. And more about herself than she ever dreamed possible.
After All These Years is an irresistible mystery, replete with Isaac’s razor-sharp wit, splendidly drawn characters, and a brave, irreverent heroine readers will love.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5not worth your 1 credit . It was just okay. when you solved the mystery, you're only going to think, "oh. okay" in your mind. that's it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Susan Issacs is one of the sharpest, classiest writers around. Her characters have both humor and depth, and her dialogue snaps. And although they are often cast as mysteries, they are basically novels of character. Some of her books are more lighthearted than others, but in the end you wish you personally knew her main characters, and you sincerely wish you could write like that. So Christine Baranski is the perfect voice: tough, funny, sometimes desperate, never saccharin, and always very very smart. My only caveat is that you really ought to listen to it in the unabridged form -- it's that good.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Saw an interview with the author. She said that a dear friend of hers was cheated on by her husband, so the girl friend came to stay with the author and they plotted against him. Best way to get even with him was to "murder" him in her novel! This is a funny and enjoyable murder/mystery.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Guilty pleasure author. She very rarely disappoints when you need some distraction. Always a few laugh out load scenes or comments. Grab it for the beach or the plane.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The day after her lavish 25th wedding anniversary bash, Rosie Meyers gets a big surprise: her nouveau riche husband Richie is leaving her for a sultry, sophisticated size six MBA. So when he's found murdered on the Mexican tile floor in their kitchen, no one is surprised to find Rosie's prints all over the lethal weapon. The fortysomething English teacher is the prime suspect. The ONLY suspect. But Rosie knows she didn't do it. Unfortunately, the police think otherwise and she'll spend the rest of her life stamping due dates in the prison library, unless she can unmask the real killer. So Rosie escapes the suburbs and goes on the lam into Manhattan. There she learnes more about Richie's secrets than she ever wanted to know -- and more about herself than she ever dreamed possible.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Funny, quick paced mystery.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5easy summer read
