About this audiobook
Jack Ryan Jr.—along with the covert warriors of the Campus—continues to uphold his legendary father’s legacy of courage and honor in this thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Tom Clancy.
Privately training with special forces, he’s honing his combat skills to continue his work within the Campus, hunting down and eliminating terrorists wherever he can—even as Jack Ryan Sr. campaigns to become President of the United States again.
But what neither father nor son knows is that the political and personal have just become equally dangerous. A devout enemy of Jack Sr. launches a privately-funded vendetta to discredit him and connect him to a mysterious killing in his longtime ally John Clark’s past. All they have to do is catch him.
With Clark on the run, it’s up to Jack Jr. to stop a growing threat emerging in the Middle East, where a corrupt Pakistani general has entered into a deadly pact with a fanatical terrorist to procure four nuclear warheads they can use to blackmail any world power into submission—or face annihilation.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Well read, gripping plot with a good effort by the reader with the different accents.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Es una Buena historia, el final apresurado un poco. Pero tiene continuidad la historia
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5No breaks on right wing adventure plot
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I have read other books by Tom Clancy and enjoyed his story telling but I found this book really annoying. This book is a political bully pulpit. Tom uses this book to paint his right wing, conservative, hawkish opinions as the only appropriate government. If you are of this political stance you will probably like this book, otherwise avoid this propaganda.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Der Campus führt Krieg gegen den Terror. Rasant, gut lesbar und Clark ist als Einzelkämpfer in Rußland unterwegs. Hauptgegner ist ein pakistanischer General, der gleichzeitig auch als Terrorfürst fungiert. Spannend und rasant !
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The Clancy brand brings recognisable elements to all its books: unnecessarily detailed descriptions of military/intelligence components (people, places, equipment) not designed to move the story forwards, but to let you know how 'in' the brand is with this world; lots of dead people, most killed in horrible ways and circumstances; the primacy of Americans in bravery, analysis, action and choice of weapons. This book has them all and enjoyable it is in a mindless beach-hammock, cocktail-drinking sort of way.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The Campus-an off the book all out spy agent created by Jack Ryan and now has Jack Jr. as and operator has to try and stop the URC and the EMIR along with another enemy who everyone thought was dead. They are being investigated, turned on, and outright plotted against all in the effort to stop Jack Sr. from winning another chance at being President a second time. This is another solid book in the Jack Ryan universe having all the characters in play the book can be overwhelming especially if you try to read it in 18 hours, I don’t recommend you’ll miss something and not know it until you start to read the next installment. Enjoy Clancy fans.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoy Tom Clancy thrillers. The book had a "with Mark Greaney" credit. Sometimes I thought it may have actually been "with Rush Limbaugh." The liberals are evil/corrupt while conservatives are good/pure theme comes off as comical. Jack Ryan's new girlfriend is an interesting character: someone who thinks the Campus may not be all that, and she has a redeeming character. Everyone else who would have that attitude would not be portrayed in a good light.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5In this latest thriller, Clancy involves his entire cast of characters including Jack Ryan (senior and junior), John Clark, and even the members of Rainbow Six. Jack, Sr. is running for president again, lured out of retirement by the incompetence of current president Kealty. Meanwhile, the members of the Campus are out to save the world from nuclear war. Kealty and his people have launched a world-wide manhunt for Clark, accusing him of murder, mayhem, and possibly littering. As usual, Clancy weaves a number of stories together, bringing them all together at the conclusion. He also leaves the reader with the impression that a sequel is on the way.Its a big book but a great read.
