About this audiobook

Words communicate. Christians often use words to communicate to others; however, these words aren't understood by many of those outside the church. We can be so absorbed in our "christianese" that we don't realize others don't understand the jargon and cannot figure out what it is we mean by what we are saying. Static readers will become aware of what we are saying so we can re-focus our thinking to communicate clearly to those outside the church.

Outside of believing what the Bible says about our need to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and to be filled with the Holy Ghost, I believe that Ron Martoia was right on track. This book got me really thinking about what Jesus really came to save us from. It is like the Bible says, the thief comes, but to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Jesus came to deliver us from the kingdom of darkness and it's way of doing things. Everything that Satan has been stealing from us, Jesus came to restore. However, we must learn to follow Christ. One of the other premises of this book is that we use many words that have very much negative baggage assigned to them and they are automatically turned off when we use those words and we need to consider the true biblical meaning of those words and get the message across without using words that shut down the conversation. Awesome Book!
