About this audiobook
Karigan G'ladheon is a Green Rider—a seasoned member of the elite messenger corps of King Zachary of Sacoridia. King Zachary sends Karigan and a contingent of Sacoridians beyond the edges of his nation, into the mysterious Blackveil Forest, which has been tainted with dark magic by a twisted immortal spirit named Mornhavon the Black.
At the end of Blackveil, in a magical confrontation against Mornhavon, Karigan is jolted out of Blackveil Forest and wakes in darkness. She's lying on smooth, cold stone, but as she reaches out, she realizes that the stone is not just beneath her, but above and around her as well. She's landed in a sealed stone sarcophagus, some unknown tomb, and the air is becoming thin.
Is this to be her end? If she escapes, where will she find herself? Is she still in the world she remembers, or has the magical explosion transported her somewhere completely different? To find out, she must first win free of her prison—before it becomes her grave. And should she succeed, will she be walking straight into a trap created by Mornhavon himself?
Mirror Sight is the highly-anticipated fifth installment of the Green Rider series.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I truely love this series - but this story felt forced in numerous places. It was also LONG - there seemed to be long stretches of unnecessary storyline that didn't add to the overall. Last, since its been so long since Blackveil was released and this book relies HEAVILY on what went on in the first 4 stories - it was as if I really wanted to keep going back and researching what was being discussed.Still, I love Karigan and the story. And while the end of the story was somewhat expected, it was still moving and touching at parts. Great fantasy story!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This continues the character development of Karigan as her feisty, self confident character is painted on a more conservative (some would say woman oppressive) society. This causes the story to move slower as she has to work within the framework of this future society. I don't think is a spoiler to say she wishes to change this future. Give this one patience, in the end it will fit well in the Green Rider framework.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I've been waiting for this book desperate to find out what happened, as the last book ended with the main character Karigan waking entombed in a sarcophagus.
I wasn't sure at first of the setting of this book which is different to the rest in the series.
I liked the new characters especially Cade, and the developing relationship between him and Karigan. Looking forward to see how the series ends. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Interlude?At times I wish there was a “law” that Fantasy series had to be trilogies or less. Some series seem to drag on and on with little movement in the story, little growth of the characters, and little to look forward to. I’ve been reading this series since The Green Rider first came out. I’ve enjoyed the series on a story, and character-level, but I am beginning to feel that this is going to fall into the category of dragging along. When I received Mirror Sight and saw that it was 775 pages I really wasn’t too sure what to think. My hopes that we have plenty of growth and movement. Hey, why not? Its 700 pages. Unfortunately it felt like we walked in place. Any true conflict doesn’t begin until around 450 pages into the book. Any conflict before seems to be mere inconvenience. I will admit that I enjoyed the story, and like Ms Britain’s writing (her strongest effort so far), but again felt that we’re moving at a snail’s pace. It took over 700+ pages into the book to finally some movement forward. Some. My hopes are treading water. I like Karigan, I like the Green Rider concept, I like this series, but my patience is beginning to wan. Twins? I was disappointed in this. How many sitcoms have had twins. Yuck.
