In this book the characters are developed further. Emphases is placed on their background and believes. Nicolae rises to prominence in Romania. His character is cruel and unloving and has links to Satan.

Another great book in the series. My only comment would be that the women sound insipid. Having said that, it can’t be easy for a man to play the role of a female character.
