      Before I heard this, I heard the shorter version on SCRIBD. It has wonderful production values! (It's produced by Scholastic Audio.)
      But – I was curious about what parts of the story I had missed in longer versions. So next I tried hearing another version, “The Velveteen Rabbit, V. 2,” produced by Librivox. I'm sorry, sweeties, but I couldn't finish your narration. ?
      Then I decided to check this one out. Hearing the extra text added SO much to my emotional experience! It made me cry!
      So my recommendation is that since they're so short, you listen to this version and the shortest one from Scholastic Audio in either order. They're quite different from each other, and there's so much to like in each of them!
