About this audiobook
The Hollisters, a bright, spirited, wholesome family, are compelled to move into the country. After many efforts to secure a home, Shirley, eldest of the Hollisters, contrives a way out by renting a magnificent old stone barn at a ridiculously low price, transforming it into a house.
The owner of the barn is not an ordinary landlord, as you will see, for he is a young man with fine ideals, and he is not content with establishing Shirley and her family in the quaintly beautiful old place, but makes the world a much happier place to live in for all of them.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5An excellent fast read! Follow the lives of Shirley as she struggles to find a home for her family, at the end of the line. This novel follows two souls of one of extremely modest means and the other of prosperous family as they meet outside a stone barn on a tree lined hillside near a brook, neither life ever to be the same.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Listening to this audio book put a smile on my face for hours…there is such goodness and beauty contained in this story; even a little action and suspense towards the end. As one reviewer stated, it is a book without sensuality, which is hard to find these days; it is not without romance though, only in its purest form, rated G. Excellent portrayal of a virtuous Christian woman. Thank you.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is a wonderfully written one full of delightful surprises!
