    David Eddings was born in Washington State in 1931 and grew up near Seattle. He graduated from the University of Washington and went on to serve in the US Army. Subsequently he worked as a buyer for the Boeing company and taught college-level English. His first novel was a contemporary adventure, but he soon began a spectacular career as a fantasy writer with his bestselling series ‘The Belgariad’.

      Ive enjoyed this over & over again. Forever each part of this series of books will be my favorite. Ive read also the stand alones Belgarath & Polgara. David & his wife created a world where imagination thrives. A must read or listed. Love ♡!

      A good conclusion for the Belgariad series. Garion is grown up and fulfils his destiny with his loved ones by his side. CeNedra has grown on me but is still a bit whiny.

      My favorite series hands down. I've read it over and over over the past 18 years. My son has also read the series and loves it as well. It's odd to hear it read out loud. I don't like the pretentious way the reader presents the book. Maybe I'll get used to him.
