About this audiobook
The classic vampire story by Bram Stoker revolves around a struggle between good and evil, tradition and modernity, and lust versus chastity. The author didn’t invent vampires, but his novel has so captured the public’s imagination that he is rightly considered their popularizer. Listen and you will meet not only the Count himself, but heroes Jonathan Harker and Abraham Van Helsing, plus an array of madmen, psychiatrists, and fair maidens who cross paths with the fanged menace. Bram Stoker
Abraham Stoker was born near Dublin in 1847. He was virtually bedridden with an unidentified illness until the age of seven. After graduating from Trinity College, he followed his father into a career as a civil servant in Dublin castle, writing journalism and short stories in his spare time. In 1876 he met the actor Henry Irving and two years later became manager of Irving's Lyceum Theatre in London. Through Oscar Wilde's parents, Stoker met his wife Florence Balcombe. He wrote many books of which only Dracula (1897) is widely remembered. He died in 1912.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Lots of different narrators. Last one was disappointing as it did not match the scene at all but instead being narrated like a breathy romance.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I liked this novel, it's a classic, and I finally decided to read it. Dracula is a historical fiction book, which is a genera I honestly don't like, I love horror and paranormal though. I still did like this book well enough. I struggled to stay interested in some parts, and wasn't able to put in down in others. It was entertaining and I'm glad I read it. 3.5/5
