About this audiobook

Multiple award-winning author Sophia James pens scorching-hot romances her eager fans devour. In One Unashamed Night, reclusive Lord Taris Wellingham shuns the possibility of intimate relationships. His traveling companion, 28-year-old Beatrice-Maude Bassingstoke, on the other hand, doesn't expect to attract a man as handsome as Taris. But when they are forced to spend the night together during a snowstorm, passion erupts between them as they lay in each other's arms. And when the night ends, a new day of love dawns before them.

Sophia James

Georgette Heyer novels formed Sophia James’s reading tastes as a teenager. But her writing life only started when she was given a pile of Mills & Boons to read after she had had her wisdom teeth extracted! Filled with strong painkillers she imagined that she could pen one, too. Many drafts later Sophia thinks she has the perfect job writing for Harlequin Historical as well as taking art tours to Europe with her husband, who is a painter.

I found this story charming and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was it a piece of great literature - not really. But the characters had depth and enough warmth to make you root for them as they developed a relationship. And that is what makes a good story for me, people I care about finding each other in spite of their problems. Worth your time to pick this one up.

What a touching, emotional story! The writing wasn't great, but I loved the hero, Tavis! Parts of the story made my heart ache -- it was so sweet. I am eagerly waiting for the book about the third brother!

I liked the story from the stand point that the characters were not perfect and had a few warts but managed to overcome them to fall in love
