      I enjoyed the Bible quotes before each chapter. The way each verse has a meaning to the chapter.

      This is a wholesome story, with characters and able to get a glimpse of their realities. The author writes with such compassion, slight sense of humor, and definitely shines God's glory within the characters in the story and those who read it!So many enriching and valuable lessons taken from this book, even underlined and starred those pages. Here is one: Reading the best part in a novel, from Luke 5:5, asking How many of you are doing something today that know God told you to do? How many of you look at what you've been told to do and wonder if you're crazy to either do it or keep doing it when it doesn't look like it's working out the way you envisioned when you began it? We say, 'Come on God. Can I get a break?' (page 148-151, The Truth is the Light by Vanessa Davis Griggs)...it gets better as you read these pages!
