About this audiobook

Becky "Rebel" Reichert never actually goes looking for trouble. It just has a tendency to find her. Like the day Frank Knight showed up at her door, wanting to use her motorcycle shop as a cover for his elite special ops team. But Becky prides herself on being able to hang with the big boys-she can weld, drive, and shoot just as well as any of them.

Munitions, missiles, and mayhem are Frank's way of life. The last thing the ex-SEAL wants is for one brash blonde to come within fifty feet of anything that goes boom. Yet it's just his rotten luck when she ends up in a hostage situation at sea. Come hell or high water, he will get her back-whether she says she needs him or not.

Another great story that I couldn't put down. I was constantly on the edge of my seat from both the action and the sexual tension. Loved the characters too.

This romantic suspense was okay. It had an exciting beginning and good ending but half the story, the romance, moved very slow and the hero fought attraction way too much. Frank and his special ops team rescue Becky when she is kidnapped at sea.

I would have expected the story of this couple would have been the first book, since he's the boss of the operation, but no. The background story puts it where it is. I like the inter-connectedness of that back story. This time we get out of the city and away from the compound, letting the boys be bad now, not just in the past. There is just a touch of angst, but it doesn't detract too much from the romance.

Becky is a badgirl biker designer with a penchant for getting in trouble. Inside the tough exterior she likes her nails painted and loves lollipops. She and her best friend have their yacht pirated at high sea, and the Black Knights must come to the rescue. Later, her new enemy kidnaps her to have his way and again the Knights to the rescue.

"Boss" Frank Kight, in rescuing her causes himself sever physical damage. He is much older than Becky and he has a lady and secret life in another city. To Becky he is hands off. Her heart tells her differently. Frank tries to push her toward younger more handsome Knights but his heart tells him differently. Years pass as these two fall ever more in love but the circumstances do not change. It takes reaching limits of all kinds to break through the walls and into final happiness.

Likeable flawed characters, good story line and lots of angst in this book. I will be reading more in the Black Knight series.

Ms. Walker sure knows how to create her characters and I found myself riveted to every…single…word. This piece drove on and on with action and suspense. It was both touching and humorous. It was wicked and hot. It was everything you want a great book to be.There is no piece of this book that I didn’t like and in fact, I loved the internalized thoughts of Becky and her confliction for her feelings for Frank. You will laugh, cry, and scream at this book but with each step of the way you will grow to love it more and more. I give this amazing piece five out of five stars for a job well done.

Julie Ann Walker has the hottest romance series out there! After the teaser of Hell on Wheels, and the introduction of Frank and Becky it was a no brainer that I had to read this book NOW! In Rides Trouble was everything that I anticipated and more. Frank’s powerful and intense character that will leave readers drooling on the pages. While ever woman envies Becky with her strong and independent character. Readers will find themselves captivated by the characters ability to demand undivided attention from start to finish. The talented and incredible writing style shines through the pages with this intense and addictive world. Black Knights Inc is a series of novels that guarantee an action packed and addictive adventure that will satisfy a wide range of fans. As I struggled putting together this review I decided that the best advice that I can give about this book is that YOU HAVE TO READ IT! There are no words that will truly justify how incredible these books are. Julie’s debuting series going to be a favorite worldwide, so be prepared to for her to ROCK YOUR WORLD!

For Becky Reichart it was love at first sight when she met Frank Knight. Unfortunately, Frank is determined to keep his distance and Becky is running out of patience. Nevertheless, when she and her friend are kidnapped by Somali pirates while on vacation, Becky has no doubt that Frank will be coming for and this time she won’t allow him to get away ...

Although the romance is better than book #1, the plot borders on the ridiculous and there are far too many references to popular culture and unexplained military slang.

Frank and Becky have great chemistry and their interactions are entertaining. Becky’s feistiness makes her a very appealing heroine although she does have a tendency toward leaping before she looks. Frank is a hunk, but his excuse for not wanting to be in a relationship with Becky makes absolutely no sense whatsoever even considering the circumstances.

As to the Somali pirates plot, it is inane to say the least with the most inept and idiotic pirates to ever grace the seas. That said, the rescue scenes plays out well and the obsessed villain scenario has its exciting moments too.

The characterization for the secondary cast is also good with hints at Bill and Eve’s past as well as the introduction of a mysterious stranger with some connection to Shell. Their book is next and I’ll be reading it sometime soon.
