Opinions seem to vary widely on this Foods of the World entry, but I find myself cooking out of it constantly; more than out of any other, and I have all 27 volumes in the set. I love the doro wat with its spiced butter oil (OMG, try dunking crusty bread in that), the dried fruit curry... Laurens vdPost is an odd bird as far as the commentary goes, so I tend to ignore it, but for the sake of the recipes, I'm giving it five stars.Edit: just for clarity, I should mention that I have the hardcover book AND the spiral-bound recipe book.
