About this audiobook
At just 19, Kendall Bettencourt is Hollywood's hottest young starlet, with the world at her feet-but behind the glamour and designer dresses is a girl who longs for normal.
Payton Taylor is Kendall's best friend since childhood and the one person who reminds her of who she really is.
With her career taking off, Kendall moves Payton to LA to help keep her sane. But Payton is hiding a secret that could make everything ten times worse. Because to her, Kendall is more than a best friend; she is the only girl that she has ever loved.
Just as they need each other more than ever, they'll have to answer the question of where friendship stops and love begins-and find out whether the feelings they have can survive the mounting pressure of fame.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The story is written so well and unpacked fully. YA isn’t a usual read for me and Kristen Zimmer made age not matter in this beautiful story.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This review is only for the Audiobook. The narrator’s voice for this version, is absolutely terrible. A clenched voice, and hard to follow intonation and pacing. I had to stop after 10 mins, and maybe look for the book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Everything, just, everything!! Perfection in every conceivable manner of the word..!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5the narrator for Peyton's voice is annoying and irritating! I struggle to listen! Another narrator for Kendall was awesome though!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved the book it was a 5 star all the way. The audio version not so much, but I guess that’s common. So maybe go read the book before you listen.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The one narrators voice is very irritating, the book was predictable, but still enjoyable.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story was okay. There’s a little drama but nothing deep. It focused more on personal control and decisions, as well as pressure from others that don’t matter - which is a normal occurrence in all of LGBTQ people. The setting just magnified it as the lead is an actress.
The narration was a bit off, the two voices are too opposite in tone and the switch of those per chapters enhanced it. I think I should be thankful that they’re not switching within the chapter itself.
