About this audiobook

CEO of Knight, Inc., Lucien Knight is catch-your-breath gorgeous and damaged by his troubled past in Norway. All grown up and relocated to London, he's built his empire of adult clubs from the ground up to become the gorgeous patron saint of the sex industry. No one knows the dark childhood secrets that have given Lucien a backbone of steel and a heart encased in ice. No one until Sophie Black, that is . . .

From the moment girl-next-door Sophie accepts the job as Lucien Knight's PA, she understands how Alice must have felt when she tumbled down the rabbit hole. Lucien takes her safe, vanilla life away and plunges her head first into a huge dish of fantasy flavours. Rich, spicy chocolate covered with dark, oozingly lickable sauce? Check. Tutti-frutti with indecently red, glistening cherries on the top? Yes please.

Lucien strips away all of Sophie's inhibitions, and when he instructs her to select three new toys, she soon realizes he has more than a game of Monopoly on his mind . . .

He's opened the door to a whole new pleasure-packed world without limits, and Sophie is utterly intoxicated. But how far is she willing to go? And what happens when she has to step back into reality again?

Lucien and Sophie's is a story of star-crossed love and forbidden passion, a sexual odyssey that spans the globe and changes both of their lives forever. Let it change yours, too.

Sophie Black is bored with her life, her dead end job, and her husband ignoring her. Deciding she needs some excitement she takes a leap of faith and sends her resume off to Knight Industries sealed with a kiss.

The swave Nordic Viking ruler of Knight Industries is Lucien Knight. A quick background check on his new PA proves that not all is well in the Black household. Unable to sit back and watch he decides to take matters and his PA into his own hands, in ways she never imagined.

Enjoyed the book easy to read, sexy. Keeps the pages turning and provides a dose of happy for now.

This book was much more my type of book! After a long dry spell, I was really excited by this book. It wasn't amazing, it was just really good!

I liked how it was more erotic scenes than pornography. They were more flashes, bits and pieces of sex scene than a play by play (play by play sex scenes bore the shit out of me, especially when the book has them jam packed, back to back).

My main issues with this book were that I didn't really like the heroine. The book was good enough, the writing so good that that didn't really matter, I was still able to enjoy the book, but she bugged me. Doormat, ostrich, ridiculous guilt complex... and she wasn't interesting. So, yeah, didn't dig her. And, I hated how the cheating husband was pretty much unconfronted, and his cheating was never really addressed. She just accepts it was mostly her fault (um... okaaaay... yeah, that makes sense) and she just wants the ugliness over, so pleasant good bye to you. It was very unsatisfying! The fucker got off WAY too easily.

It also wasn't a very deep book. There wasn't a hell of a lot goin' on. But it was very well written, very entertaining, and I liked it a lot.

My best friend called and told me to purchase this book right away. The only thing I was told was, "you will not believe how good this is!" Since she has yet to fail me on anything in the past 17 yrs, I took her advice. Let me tell you this...OH MY GOSH!If there is one book that will make you get all hot and bothered, then this is the one. I bought this book from Amazon, for $0.99 on April 1, 2014. I started reading this book on April 7 and finished on April 8. I was not able to sleep or put this book down until it was completed! There have actually been on a couple of books that have piqued my interest this much and, well this is one!*****Sophie Black has become tired of her boring life. Her marriage to Dan has lost its spark. Her job as a PA for a building company is just about as exciting as watching paint dry. With a need to have a change, Sophie decides to spice up her resume or CV (as they say across the pond) and jump head first into the most exciting thing she may ever try in her life...applying for a job as a PA at Knight Inc.Lucien Knight has become the biggest thing in the adult entertainment business. He not only has a successful line of adult novelties, but he also branched off into the club industry. Now that business is going great, his PA has decided to leave and the daunting task of finding a new one has begun...not what he is wanting to do with a world full of sex freaks out there. With an interview scheduled, the perfect outfit handpicked by her best friend, Sophie sucks up her courage and heads into the office of Mr. Knight and plans to blow this out of the water. (no pun intended) That was before she laid eyes on her potential new boss."Tall, dark and handsome was nowhere near the mark. He was tall, definitely, but with the dirty blonde hair and flint blue eyes that were now fixed on her with a predatory look of interest. He wasn't exactly in business dress, either. He might have been, earlier in the day, but now right he was down to a close-fitting charcoal shirt with the cuffs turned back to reveal strong, tanned forearms. He'd loosened his equally dark tie and popped his top button, and if he'd put his feet up on the desk and produced a glass of whisky, Sophie wouldn't have been altogether surprised. He looked like he'd tumbled out of a club, or stepped straight from the centre-fold of a glossy hipster magazine. Or in fact, make that a top shelf one." (page 10)Besides the dashing good looks of Lucien, it's the word that he wants her to repeat that makes her stumble in her so well choreographed interview. Not one to give up and willing to make a change in her life, she pulls up her big girl panties, holds her head high and with all the courage and strong-willed emotions she can muster, says what his ears are dying to hear...clitoris.From this point on, the book picks up and produces so much steam that you will be swooning in your easy chair. This book oozed so much sex that you can't help but get wrapped up in the world of Sophie and Lucien. *****What I loved about this book was that it wasn't all about the sex. Ms. French does a remarkable job at building a story around all the hot and steamy parts. With "Knight & Play" you become so wrapped up in the emotional well beings of both Lucien and Sophia. When they are having their ups...well they are up and you are soaring on that after glow and giddiness that we all want in our lives. However, when they are having their down times...you feel the emotional pain that comes with heartache and broken dreams.I can tell you from my own personal experience with this book, I was either reading on my kindle or working around the house, driving the car or cooking dinner and listening to it through my headphones. I was even rude enough to eat dinner at the kitchen table with my family listening with my headphones in. (Yes I know it's rude, but I can name times when my child and boyfriend have left the table to watch a stupid baseball game! So, once is not putting my in the "Worst Mother Of All Time" category!)I do want to warn you that this book is very explicit. It is erotica and isn't meant for anyone that is offended by wild, hot and explicit sex scenes. This is defiantly mature audience only material. If you are prepared for a mental stimulation like no other, then Knight & Play is defiantly your book!

The trip leading to the end was Fab. I did not really contact with the characters, I think that may have been the goal, as they were not connected either. There was not true emotion except sexual. Maybe in the second book there will be more, of everything!
