This is # 2 in the series - fun - but not quite as good as the early Stephanie Plum series.

This is the first that I've read of this author's books. While I found it entertaining, it took a while to get into it. I received this book for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4* rating. Our heroine is a beauty salon worker but thinks she know all about fashion. But she is slow in filling her dreams. There certainly a lot of twists and turns after she finds a body. There is just so much going on, but everything ties in at the end. Lots of bad guys to point a finger at, but I would never guess this.

This was a re-read before I start on other books from the series. I'd forgotten how much fun Bubbles was! There is a fun family dynamic and of course a love interest to help Bubbles solve a muti-layered mystery. I'm starting the next one tonight.

Synopsis:Bubbles is ready to be a bridesmaid in a wedding, but the bride disappears. In trying to get her back, Bubbles has to become Amish, or at least pose as one, and put her life in danger.Review: Fun to read, this book is just brain candy.

Great book! Started out kinda iffy but by the end i couldn't put it down. A lot of suspense and a little romance thrown in. This book you start to know more about the characters you have read about. A very intriguing book at the very least. I will definitely read the next in the series.

Bubbles Yablonsky has just woken up with her ex, there's a debt collection agency on her case, she's late for her friend's wedding, her friend hasn't turned up for her wedding, when Bubbles goes to check on her she finds that her friends uncle is dead and her friend is the main suspect. The hunt for her friend brings her to Amish country and the bodies start to mount. It's not quite as good as the first book but it is funny and I found it quite comparable to Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series.

A ditzyish hairdresser-come-detective investigates a murder in the Amish community. The main character is unusual and endearing. Contains sexual references and mild violence.
