      I really like the diary of a wimpy kid book series and I own most of the books in hard cover and paperback. This book is very funny. Congratulations Jeff Kinney. You made me laugh one again.

      Nope. Didn't care for this one much. Way too many coincidences and truly outlandish scenarios. Part of what makes the DoaWK novels so engaging is their ultra-realism. This one seemed to doff all that in favor of an over-the-top and frantic form of humor.

      Same as the others except that this one I particularly disliked toward the end. I don't like "comedy" where everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. To me, instead of funny, it's frustrating and annoying. And that's where this book went toward the end.

      This is a gut-splitting hilarious read about what can go wrong on and does go wrong on this family trip in the van. So enjoyable! You will not get through it without laughing many, many times. -ER
