This book was a lot of fun. I really enjoy these historical Sheikh books. Lady Cassandra is a fun character. She is honest to the point of insulting our hunky sheikh on a regular basis. Our handsome sheikh, Jamil, is so clueless about how to handle this delectable but infuriating woman that you have to love him. Frankly, Cassie is so headstrong I am surprised he put up with her sometimes. There is a really nice story line about Jamil and his daughter that I enjoyed also. There have been two books about the Armstrong sisters. There are 3 more girls in the family and a hint was dropped about the third, Cressida. I wonder if we will see more of these determined siblings in the future.

This is book 2 by this author in a series. It is a sequel to the story of Lady Celia Armstrong who is now married to her Sheikh. This second book concerns Lady Cassandra Armstrong (younger sister to Lady Celia) who is appointed as a governess for an unruly princess in a neighboring kingdom. This is where the fun starts as the Prince Sheikh from the neighbouring country assumed at 21 years of age that the new English governess would be an unattractive spinster (old in Arabian terms to be unmarried). Instead she is the most beautiful creature he has ever seen and the sparks fly. She is outspoken and tells it like she sees fit. He is a fierce prince who is never questioned and is a real autocrat. Put into the mix a lonely little princess (8 years old) who is largely ignored and unloved. She is only a princess after all!! Fantastic story. Great love scenes. I loved the fact that the story centered so much around the two main characters but there was occasionally input in the story from Lady Cassandra’s father an esteemed diplomat in England. Fantastic narration. I wish Marguerite Kaye would continue the stories more.
