- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A decent quick read that fills in a side story within the overall Demon Cycle series.
4 stars for a fun read. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a novella to read only if you've read the first three books of the Demon Cycle series by Brett, as there are some spoilers in this story. It also introduces Briar who makes an appearance in the fourth book of the series. It's a short read but interesting enough. It could probably have made a good full sized novel, but since it's connected to an already complex and huge series, it works as it is.
