- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is the second book in this series, and I like the way this author writes a good mystery. I feel like I am right there trying to figure out the mystery with Helen Bradley. I it takes me pretty much the whole story to figure out who the "bad guy" is because there are always several people it could be. I also like the interaction between Helen and her new husband, J.B.. J.B. isn't in the story much, but you still get to know him and the rest of their family. You could read this as a stand alone story, but I encourage folks to read them in order as you get to know the family better. In this story Helen finds herself in a coastal town in Washington State, where she is finishing a travel guide article. The original author, Isabelle, didn't complete the project because she died. So along with finishing the travel article, Helen will also try to figure out if Isabelle was killed and if so why and by who. Enjoy trying to find the answers as you read another good "Helen Bradley Mystery".
