      Kate Townsend is in the tower charged with the murder of her faithless, cheating husband. James Bancroft, Viscount Medford visits her in the jail and offers her a deal. If she will write a pamphlet detailing her side of the murder, he will pay for her defense and help her to 'live' a little before the trial. She accepts and after a late night 'escape' in his coach, she moves in with him. Medford has a hard time being near Kate as he has been drawn to her from the beginning. He doesn't want to cross the line and show dishonor toward her so he tries to stay away from her. That doesn't work very well...and the fun begins! The characters are well developed and likable, with a strong plot/story line. This ARC was provided by the author for an honest review. I honestly loved it!
