This was such a sweet story about star crossed lovers. To be honest the first 7 or so chapters were slow and the story line seemed too far reaching for that era. The only think that kept me going at that point was Ms. Landor’s delectable narration. But it took a turn and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hero was charming per usual, and I like Prudent was quite daring although a debutante. Great story!
