    No Excuses Fitness, the 30 day plan by Donovan GreenDr Oz personal trainer. this book is from him and he combines diet, exercise and attitude to make a difference in toning your body.Listing of myths and facts about a lot of different subjects dealing with your health, diet and exercising. Love the recipes as they use the freshest of ingredients.What things to avoid. Stretching, strength and resistance exercises to gain more control over parts of your body are an added plus for me.Lots of tips to help you achieve your goals throughout the book.I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

    I found this in the dollar store. It caught my eye, and when I realized that I'd been flipping through it for 15 minutes or so, I decided to part with my well-earned dollar .
    Tell you what - despite the baggage of Dr. (frequently quack if not downright pseudoscientific) Oz - the plan is simple and straight forward. You can mostly use what you already have at home, and I learned that a medicine ball, resistance bands, balance ball, yoga mat etc. are all available at Five and Below now.
    Combining your mind, spirit, and body - with a proportionate amount of information given (as well as recipes) for diet changes - - it's hard to see where you can go wrong. It is also concise and mostly no-nonsense. Dr. Oz's audience apparently really likes to hear that Mr. Green grew up in a particularly crack-riddled time period in the history of the South Bronx (repeated in nearly every chapter - - he's black and from Jamaica, you know... that's going to take some easing into for a distressing percentage of white middle-class America) - - but you know what? I really dig it. It emphasizes the "no excuses" theme.
    I'll absolutely kick this up to 5 stars if my 30 days are transformative. For now, I'm just starting day 2. Can tell you - 1 was good, lol. Would work for most ages and levels of training/capability, I think.
