About this audiobook

Will Lee, the courageous and uncompromising senator from Georgia, is back-now as President of the United States-in the fifth book in the New York Times bestselling series that began with Chiefs.

When a prominent conservative politician is killed inside his lakeside cabin, authorities have no suspect in sight. And two more deaths-seemingly isolated incidents, achieved by very different means-might be linked to the same murderer. With the help of his CIA director wife, Kate Rule Lee, Will is facing a perilous challenge: catch the most clever and professional of killers before he can strike again.

From a quiet D.C. suburb to the corridors of power to a deserted island hideaway in Maine, Will, Kate, and the FBI will track their man and set a trap with extreme caution and care-and await the most dangerous kind of quarry, a killer with a cause to die for...

I love Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware series. Likewise Faye Kellerman's Decker series, but I have tried three times to read this book and I just can't wrap my mind around it nor can I find what I especially like about either of their writing. Sorry guys, two stars. (Keep writing those other one - I'll eat them up!)

The narrator must not have known the main character, Will Lee, was from Georgia because he voices him to sound like an aristocratic prude with a stick up his As-ton Martin. I couldn’t get past that. Ruined my appetite for the series.

This book was a combination of two stories - one each from the authors, with their main characters taking a subsidiary part in the tales. I liked the Jonathan Kellerman story the best, but neither tale was as satisfying as some of their other works.

Two novellas in one binding, My Sister's Keeper features a cameo appearance by Kellerman character Peter Decker and Music City Breakdown includes a cameo of Alex Delaware. Both stories are well scripted, vintage Kellerman developments of plot and characters.

couldn't really get into this and see that other people couldn't either.

I've always been a fan of Jonathan Kellerman and have never before read anything by his wife, Faye. After barely getting through the first few pages of this junker, I never will! This book is two shorter novellas in one and I had to skip to the second story to even be able to get through the book. This book is a terrible waste of time - Don't know what Jonathan was thinking when he agreed to this travesty. If you are a fan of Jonathan Kellerman, do yourself a favor and stay away from this book!
