Im afraid all you have to do is read my rather dismal review of Book I in this series to know what I think of this book- frankly, I couldn't finish it , which is rare for me.
After Id read the book and written my review I looked for others and found many many insightful comments - it seems a shame the writers didn't do the same. It occurs to me that if perhaps providing ARCs wasn't viewed as solely a marketing tool and writers and editors actually read them and applied some of the constructive criticisms ( altho, Im afraid mine was not very constructive for this series lol)they'd find a better book in the end.
But, this will probably be made into a movie and it may be a lot better in that format.I received an ARC form the publiher, which (obviously)in no way affected my review.

This is definitely a kids book as the three walker children are propelled into a series of adventures when they are plunged into the plots of books from a library owned by a man named Denver Kristoff. How else could a modern day house end up in the Roman coliseum 2,000 years ago only to have the kids attacked by a band of Nazis from another book. This is for a child who is able to suspend all logic and just go with the wacky twists and turns of the plot.
