About this audiobook
The third novel in the besetselling Sepentwar series.
The ultimate darkness approaches…
As the Emerald Queen’s shadow lengthens once more across the land of the Midkemia, her forces stand ready to launch a devastating invasion. But come the battle’s dawn, the magician Pug, and his life-long friend Tomas, will discover that something far worse than the Queen’s sorcery is afoot. Swords, bows, wits and courage will no longer be enough to defeat the descending plague.
A foul and terrible thing has escaped a devoured world to feed on one consumed by chaos; an insatiable nightmare creature which seeks to own and corrupt the source of life itself.
When the final conflict is joined, reptile will stand against man and magician against demon; and those who battle for good must be victorious… or all is doomed.
Rage of a Demon King is the third book in the Serpentwar Saga. The fourth and concluding book in the quartet is Shards of a Broken Crown.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The final book in the saga was a well rounded and action packed book. As always you get the two tiered effect of epic level characters dueling gods and demons and the mid range leaders down in the rank and files. I think it ended rather abruptly but it didnt take much away from the book.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is the conclusion of the Serpentwar saga. I enjoyed the characters, but I didn't enjoy this trilogy as much as the previous. The resolution here is a bit mixed, the immediate threat is ended, but its obvious there's still something big planning trouble in the background. That's fairly normal for Feist books, but at this point I started to wonder when we'd ever get an idea of what's really behind all the problems, and when they'd get to fixing it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I didn't like the books of the Serpentwar Saga as much as the original trilogy, and don't actually remember much about them beyond the fact that I did enjoy reading them.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love Feist visual language and characters are strong nut read
