Revisiting our childhoods with my boyfriend. Umm... R.L. Stine's writing is not as impressive as an adult. The constant He sighs, he cries, he mutters, he said, he mumbled, he yelled, he bent over gleefully. lol lt was too much. You don't have to describe EVERY line of dialogue. 3/10 My boyfriend thinks it's a classic even with all of its faults. He is a lot more understanding of this writing than I am. Maybe it was because it's an audiobook. Who knows, it could have felt differently if I was reading it.
