      I READ a few chapters every night to my Grandsons until we finished the last one, My grandsons loved the nightly routine. They were very upset when the books were finished. We really bonded over reading the stories before bed. Then we talked about what we thought of the plot, character's to make sure they weren't afraid, but it was quite the oppersite. They often couldn't wait to bed time to hear me read more of the story, often begging me or trying to bribe me to read during day time in exchange for them doing extra chores, excedra. They were very creative with there reasons for me to read...One grandson had to read a book and write a summary about it over weekend...and I'm sure what book he wrote down on his book sheet? Lol...I believe it was `Spirals ' Not sure if spelt right ..sorry'....I never did find another series that engrossed them and opened thier imagination then this series! I would order each one as soon as I finished the prior one from Amazon...lol...and my grandsons would be pushing at each other non stop Che king to see if it arrived....Thank God for Amazon Prime! These books are thick, and there's 6? Of them...so that was alot of quality time spent with my grandsons and I.... every night after showers, PJ's , was reading / wrap up book discussion time.. for 1 hour. Then Bed for them, and tired voice grammy...Goidthing they never knew I read the books straight though after they went to bed..lol..shhh!

      Roderick Gordan and Brian Williams could not have made a better sequel to "Tunnels" than this book. "Deeper" was by far the most exciting and thrilling book that I have read in my whole life. Every aspect of this book really got through to me. I especially liked how I felt like I could relate to the character because of how realistic they made the characters personalities. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone in interest in reading action or thrilling books.
