The first book in the Locke Family Series. A very cute story about an heir sent to England to meet his bethoved. He finds that she is the most beautiful girl in the world, but is also very rude, proud, and not to his licking. He meets an average girl who is kind and makes him laugh. He falls in love with her and wishes to marry her. His obsticle is that his intended bride spreads rumors of thier engagement, hurting the possibilities for him to be with his true love. The sex scenes are amaziing!

Duncan MacTavish finds he is the heir to his English grandfather's marquisette and also has an arranged bride. Olivia's a gossipy b*tch and he decides to look around. He becomes friendly with Olivia's friend, Sabrina, who falls in love with him. But he seduces her and then becomes re-engaged to Olivia. Sabrina is a doormat who should have grown a spine and dumped his arse. He's an oblivious, ill-tempered clod, and Olivia is the worst (I think she's supposed to be redeemed in the next book in the series, but I don't care because she is unreadable). There are a few more interesting minor characters: the English grandfather and the guy who decides to become friends with Duncan (not sure why). Mostly, this book was a huge disappointment.

Their road to marriage is a little rocky but they get there. This was another fun story by Johanna Lindsey
