If you start reading and the first few chapters are boring, just stick with it! It’s utterly romantic and the symbolism is fantastic. Jane is very much an early feminist.

Always in favor of an underdog. Jane is a culmination of Cinderella, Oliver Twist and the Ugly Duckling. Definitely a commuter's road rage calmer.

A beautiful classic that is brilliantly written and thoroughly enjoyed even in 2022! I loved the first person narrative and experienced every emotion from heartache to utter giddiness. Definitely a new favourite.

Such a meaningful, beautiful story. One of my favorites. The narrator's voice perfectly conveys how I imagine Jane Eyre would sound.

i can't stand it. Maybe many people like this kinda of romance but this is annoying. A girl fall in love with her employer is unprofessional. This kind of story is irrelevant today.
