I like these books ok but not nearly as much as when I was a teenager. Also as an adult I find the age gap between the protagonist and her love interest much more questionable.

Paul is going to travel back through time (shifters can, which means Suze can, but it's draining and will eventually kill) to stop Jesse from being killed. Suze knows it's because he doesn't want her to have ever met Jesse (he's eliminating the competition) but everyone else, including Father Dom, thinks it's a wonderful act to give Jesse the life he should have had. They both end up back in Jesse's time, and it turns out Paul was making a pre-emptive strike, or so he thought. He though Suze would remove the spirit from his body and put Jesse's into it (another shifter thing) so he thought he could only save himself by saving Jesse.

There's a happily ever after in this book, one that leaves them all in a good place after the series ends. The only problem is it's one I don't so much care about because it was too pat, too easy.

Continuing with the side discussion about love triangles, this is the book that really made me detest Paul. Not because of his reasons for travelling back in time, but because he’s such an egoistical bastard that he thinks Suze would attempt murder to shove her boyfriend’s spirit in his body. I…wow. I know the guy’s in high school, but come on, that is a logical stretch. Especially when that’s the first conclusion he jumps to when he reveals to Suze what shifters can do.

Speaking of, the time travel powers: There is a point in books where I will throw my hands up and go “Fine, we’re going with it.” While I had a similar reaction to this revelation, I let my frustration slide since it was pointed out that there were side effects to using the power extensively. (Although on this reread, I wanted to see some evidence that prolonged time travel had an effect on Suze and Paul. Not massive problems, but just little things.) I did enjoy this book, though. I thought it was fitting end to the series, even though there’s a lot of hand-waving and deus ex machine involved. I loved that Suze got to be happy at the end, seeing as how much of her life has been hindered by her powers. And that Jesse gets to get to be old and snarky with her.

(Anyone else find it ironic that that two books titled “Twilight” came out in the same year and respectively ended and started a paranormal romance series? Of course, I think this one is vastly superior. Vastly.)

This definitely has a twist in the tale. A very satisfying one. I like Suze - despite her teenage obsessions (clothes, hot guys, etc.) she makes good choices and does the right thing.

The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot is about a girl that can see ghosts. This becomes a little tricky when she moves from New York to California only to find a gorgeous ghost is already living in her bedroom. Not only does Suze have to deal with Jesse there is another ghost trying to kill people at her school. I loved these books, Suze was so down to earth and Jesse was so crushable.

Young Adult book, very interesting story line. Had to read all of the books one after another. Young girl that has the ability to see ghosts. She actually shares her room with one. This story follows this relationship along a rollercoaster of emotions and problems. Only to find that love with prevail.

I absolutely loved this book! I liked the whole series! I really like what happened in the end, and I wish there were going to be more books but then more bad stuff would have to happen.

I really loved this series. In this climactic finale Suze goes out on a limb, despite the threat to her very existence, to save the ghost she loves.
