- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I like Danuta Reah's novels, not least because they are set in Sheffield, where I am from. Not many books are set here! This is a novella, only 82 pages in length, and it covers the murder of an asylum seeker. DC Tina Barraclough sets out to discover the culprit and, as she is currently working with asylum seekers, she feels that she has a greater understanding of the situation. Although very short, I felt the story was well-rounded and fully fleshed out. It obviously didn't have masses of detail in it, but enough to ensure that it wasn't simply a short story.
