      It’s always good to read another book about characters you are familiar with Stephen Lavender, constable Woods.I found the book quite addictive and found I couldn’t stop reading it.

      Outstanding narrator and engaging storyline with a few unexpected twists. Will definitely listen to the next in the series.

      Kept you on the edge of your seat. Narrator was great

      Good mystery with some plot twists. The "romance" of Lavender and his salacious thoughts towards Magdelana are a distraction, and not particularly well written. Skip this nonsense and the story is great. Looking forward to the next book, with a finger on the fast forward button
