      This story is the proverbial case of being caught between a rock and a hard place. Delaney Hart has come home to decide the fate of her inheritance; a condemned bar left to her and her sisters by her father. Even worse, there are no good memories associated with the place. And to add fuel to the fire, the events that caused her those bad memories, also spawned many enemies.

      Ethan Hayes has always harbored feelings for Delaney Hart. He also feels responsible for the events that caused her to run away from her hometown. Being from the enemy camp, makes matters worse. t And though he does not represent his family, he is still convinced that getting rid of that rundown excuse of a building is the only way to make things better. But now when he has a chance of making it with Delaney, everything starts to create blockades; his family, his job, even the plans he made for his future. For Ethan and Delaney, this is the toughest decision they are ever going to have to make; Do they choose each other and give up their dreams or follow their dreams and lose each other?

      What an incredible story of overcoming the tough lessons life throws at you when you are young. When Delaney comes back to Wildwood to make decisions about her deceased father’s old bar, she is faced with her past that she wants to forget. She was expecting to face some hostility, but what she wasn’t expecting was to fall for the one person that could make her life miserable.

      All those years ago, Ethan Hayes took the blame from his family for his cousin’s death. He has been paying for it ever since doing his father’s bidding as the town planner/building inspector.

      I love the story behind the story in this book, that family is who you choose, not who you are born into. No matter what, you can make yourself happy! I am so happy that Ms. Jordan is back… cannot wait for book 2 of this series!
