- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Was very much enjoying the audiobook until Chapter 4. At this point the narrator changed to quite possibly the worst reader I’ve ever heard, and quite possibly the absolute worst in existence. Strange affect, inconsistent cadence, questionable literacy, loud swallowing, and prolonged pauses when he lost his place or general consciousness actually made me angry because it was so awful. Who QA’d this? Blech. I cannot finish the book now, because even if a different version is read by someone without the intellectual challenges facing this narrator, I’ll still be reminded of it and want to break something.
