      Tim Dorsey captivates his listeners and readers like no other. Murder, mayhem, chaos, and wrath all beautifully bound humorously together into a book long joke with unforgettable characters. What I cannot wait for are these great books to be made into movies! Dark Disney Movies, maybe.

      Loveable serial killer Serge Storms has two new objectives in life: becoming the new Jimmy Buffet and getting married. And we get to go along for the ride; this time in the Florida Keys. Oh, and Coleman returns.

      I have most all of the Dorsey Serge books and am ashamed to say this is my second least favorite behind Orange Crush. It just seemed to me this book was written to meet a deadline. The final 5 chapters was decent, but the previous ones were dreadful. Only read this if you have to complete all Setge (Dorsey) books.

      It didn't have lol moments for me, read the whole book but didn't really get anything out of it. Now that I look back I don't that is all I remember about the book.

      Torpedo Juice is a strange book. In parts laugh out loud funny, for example the opening scene where the Narrator is fired, and in parts with an unbelievably convoluted plot. You definitely never know where the story is taking you next. Overall an intriguing book you should give a try if in desperate search for some lightweight humor.

      Serge has decided to get married. In his quest for the perfect mate he is reunited with Coleman and becomes the leader of a cult. His wife turns out to be a wanted serial killer, whose trap for Serge ends up offing a local mafiaboss. The narrator is hungover and fired which may explain why the story lacks a bit of the internal coherence that has made other Serge Storms stories engaging despite their oddness.
