About this audiobook
What really happened in the past, and how will it change the future? As each extraordinary secret of the Eysen is revealed, the danger escalates. The more Gaines learns, the less he knows who he can trust. But his most difficult challenge is the paradox of the Cosega Sequence. Failing to decode it in time will cost him his life, yet succeeding also means that he must die.
Brandt Legg
Brandt Legg is a former child prodigy who turned an interest in stamp collecting into a multi-million dollar empire. At eight, Legg’s father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business. National media dubbed him the “Teen Tycoon,” but by the time he reached his twenties, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties, lost his entire fortune... and ended up serving time in federal prison for financial improprieties. Legg emerged, chastened and wiser, one year later and began anew in retail and real estate. From there his life adventures have led him through magazine publishing, a newspaper column, FM radio, CD production, and concert promotion. Outin is the second book in the Inner Movement Trilogy. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5COSEGA STORM features fast action, conveyed through dialogue in short, snappy chapters. It opens with “Automatic gunshots echoed off the canyon,” which forces the heroes into a narrow escape, both literally and figuratively: “The walls were so close together that Gale wasn’t sure they’d be able to turn around if it led to a dead end.”Ripley and Gale are constantly on the run, because “The things he’d discovered in the mountains of Virginia were so controversial and valuable that FBI and Vatican agents were relentlessly hunting them.” The chase makes it that much harder for them to unravel the meaning of the Eysen, but as noted at the beginning, “You haven’t studied the mysticism of Catholicism or you’d know that the answers we seek are always around us.”The relations between Ripley and Gale changes through their adventures. “Gale was different… He couldn’t deny he had developed feelings of some sort and found the way she caused him to see things within himself, and the world, exciting.”Not only does the book open with a bang, it ends with one as well, driving the series into its next installment.Five stars.
