      I was given an ARC of "SOUL" by the wonderful and very talented author Audrey Carlan. In exchange for an honest opinion of her book. This is MisMousey's very honest opinion of SOUL.I have had the pleasure and I do mean the pleasure of following this wonderful an tragic story from the beginning. I have seen how Ms Carlan has had her characters. And not only grown but has taken them through some horrific moments of life. She has done this with such painstaking compassion and a such a moving way that you are brought into to the story itself.Ms Carlan's writing style is very unique- she has a way with her pen that will surprize you at every turn of the page. She keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting an wanting to know what is going to happen next to our couple / characters.I have never been so moved before in such away that I have been with this book. The way in which - the author has not only shown how one person wants to own another soul . But will go to great lengths to do so. This book is meant for adults and yes there is abuse written into the storyline. But -what I am reading - I am being shown how it has been done to people and that they can over come it.I commend the author for taking on a storyline of this caliber. This book is so amazing an FANTASTIC - A WORK OF PURE GENIUS!!!Now let me tell you some of Soul...We left off our bride had just been kidnapped - the mother of the groom had been murdered. And our poor Groom well he is a basket case.They have the resort on lockdown searching for the Gillian -Chase is not only grieving for his mother but going out of his mind for his lost an missing love.The stalker has finally gotten his grabby little hands on her an wants her to own her soul for his own. But will he?? Does Chase finally figure out who it is in time?? And does the stalker claim any more lives ??Now I am going to tell you - this is such a gut wrenching edge of the seat page turner of a book. That you have to read it!!!. The way that SOUL has been written is truly and I do mean truly GENIUS!! My hat is off to you Ms Carlan - you have gone above an beyond my wildest imagination for this final book. I am looking forward to reading more of your books . And I do so want to know what happens to rest of the crew in the story.I recommend this book for adults over the age of 18 due to the subject material in the book. Mismousey does give it a very firm rating of 50 out of 5 stars. Now I ask you what are you waiting for?? RUN ON OVER AND GET YOUR COPY TODAY!!! THIS IS A MUST READ !!!
