- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I swoon for Ryker so much. When he kept hold of Zoey's knee while he was asleep???
My heart swooned so much for the angry, broody, fae warrior.
Ryker and Zoey carry on this journey with Sprig who seems like their uncontrollable child. Along the way, we meet two new players in the game and from the start they cannot be trusted. Although I do have a soft spot for the pirate, he's a very humourous character when he wants to be.
Ryker and Zoey finally get it on in this book and it is fire! Ryker is a kinky man and I love it so much. I was blushing from the audio alone.
This series is addictive and Ryker and Zoey have a hell of a lot more challenges to over come. I'm very intrigued to see where the story goes because at the moment the outcome isn't looking good and there are still 3 more books in the series. A lot is going to happen and I don't know if I can deal. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I will read the next in the series but this book focused way too much on sexual tension. It felt like what transpired could have been said in one chapter. I found it annoying and frustrating as an audio book you can’t just skim going la la blah blah. If I read the book manually I would have had it read in an hour. Loved the concept but as you are guessing annoyed by the fluff.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This series just keeps getting better and better. To the next book!!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The Barrier Between (Collectors #2) by Stacey Marie Brown Zoey Daniels and Ryker go a quest to return Ryker’s powers to him before Zoey dies. The Barrier Between is a fast-paced novel that kept me entertained and guessing.Zoey and Ryker have both undergone a lot and changed throughout this series. They both hated the other’s race and now have become allies. They have become so close there is probably no one who knows them better. I love that they seem like a family along with their “kid” Sprig.Speaking of Sprig, I still adore him. He cracks me up with his love of honey and amusing comments. He adds comic relief to the story.A couple of new people join the trio on their quest. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but we met on of them in book one. I never really trusted either of them. They both seem to have hidden agendas. There is so much that happens in this story. I felt bad for Zoey because she never seems to catch a break. It’s just one thing after another. Needless to say it kept the story interesting. The Barrier Between ends with a crazy cliff hanger that left me yearning for book three, I can’t wait to find out what happens next.Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review.
