- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent source book for anyone who wants to raise the bar for environmental awareness and improving access to nature. Louv has written a book that stands out in the field of books on this topic. He provides quick ideas for parents, teachers, grandparents, and various community groups about improving access to nature and documents carefully what is known in today's research about the impact of that access to nature. He is no Luddite and offers ideas about integrating technology and nature immersion. This book can be used on-the-go for people who want to grab quick ideas and can also be a nice work of reflection upon the importance of nature to people living in any environment. His appendices provide further "trails" to follow, if you will. Highly recommended.
