      This was unimpressive. Where is the actual mystery? And since when is Idaho the Midwest. I live in the Midwest and you missed all the coolest stuff. What a waste of time. I was so excited too...

      the book itself is not bad, but the narrator, a guy named dan gallagher, is without a doubt the most obnoxious ridiculous narrator I've ever come across, avoid him like the mf plague.

      I love the strange and unusual and this book is full of that. It’s everything you ever wanted to hear and more. From goats to strange happenings etc I suggest anyone who loves the weird and unusual the strange and uncommon read this book.

      It's okay, focused too much on historical facts such as old bank robberies, and crimes to which sentences were given out, no mystery there, only but a one or two lined possibility of alleged rumored loot. Lastly it covered alleged historical fraudulent artifacts, however, the author seemed bias and presentes the 'mystery,' as hoaxes. No other conclusions could be determined, again, where's the mystery there? The first few chapters are the reasons why I gave three stars, entertaining and to me, actually mysterious.

      Very nice collection of stories and corresponding analyses. The narrator was just fine; I don't know why this book lost ratings due to that.
