About this audiobook
Biblical Christianity is more than just another private religious view. It’s more than just a personal relationship with God or a source of moral teaching.
Christianity is a picture of reality.
It explains why the world is the way it is. When the pieces of this puzzle are properly assembled, we see the big picture clearly. Christianity is a true story of how the world began, why the world is the way it is, what role humans play in the drama, and how all the plotlines of the story are resolved in the end.
In The Story of Reality, bestselling author and host of Stand to Reason, Gregory Koukl, explains the five words that form the narrative backbone of the Christian story. He identifies the most important things that happen in the story in the order they take place:
- God
- Man
- Jesus
- Cross
- Resurrection
If you are already a Christian, do you know and understand the biblical story? And for those still seeking answers to the questions of life, this is an invitation to hear a story that explains the world in a way nothing else will. This story can change your life forever.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Well written. Well narrated. Gave me a new perspective of reality.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great full to have such access to tools like this
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The author mistakes religious truth (a.k.a. personal truth) with absolute truth. I have been a Christian my entire life, but the author’s utter arrogance incited an increasingly severe anti-Christian sentiment in me as the book went on. I listened to the whole thing because I felt like I should hear him out, but I did so on 2X speed (compared to my normal 1.2X) because I just wanted it to be done. Unless you already seek out painfully narrow-minded world views for fun or unless you already blindly believe 100% of what he preaches, reading or listening to this book is, in my opinion, a waste of your time.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book left me grieved. I have no problem with authors quoting once or twice C.S. Lewis, because little discernment is done and authors simply want to gain authority by mentioning his name. But if an author leans in virtually every reference on his name, directly promotes 2 of his witchcraft books and apparently aims to imitate his overly eloquent writing style, then it becomes obvious that this author is not spritually balanced. Do not get me wrong, it is per se a good book. But it is hypocritical to teach salvation in one breath and in the next breath to promote two books which each in itself have the potential to lead the reader straight to hell.
Furthermore, to teach Big Bang Theory to unbelievers, shows a deep unbelief in God's abilities. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If you are human you should read this book. A great and thought provoking explanation of reality.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very thorough and honest overview of Christianity. Good listen! Thanks
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A bird’s eye view of reality. If you want to know what Christianity says in a nutshell, listen to this book. Koukl does a great job narrating as well. If you want to know what the Bible is about in simple terms, read this book. Btw, Christianity is true.
