    I'm a monster. That's what Brandon thinks when he flees the medical institute that changed him. Living a normal life isn't in the cards for him because, while he can hide his scaly skin, his wings are hard to miss. So he runs and lives in the shadows where monsters belong.

      The thing I did like was the narrator. The writing was juvenile and there was poor character development. I tried and restarted and reread yet halfway through the book there was no plot. I finally quit. Don’t waste your money. Man is a science experiment (three paragraphs). Woman is a dragon and yet no history told. There is a lot of “mines” as in you are mine and well that about sums it up! A plane almost disaster and even that was so superficial that it wasn’t a big deal.
