About this audiobook

As Harry well knows, there's hardly a place on earth cozier than Crozet, Virginia, at Christmastime. Snowflakes, carolers, it's all picture-perfect until Harry and her husband, Fair, find the tree they've chosen grimly decorated with a corpse. The tree farm is run by the Brothers of Love, a semimonastic organization whose members live atop the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Now, as the season grows merrier, a murderer is growing bolder. One by one, prominent men of Crozet are being crossed off Christmas shopping lists and added to the morgue. And if Harry and her four-legged helpers aren't very good-and very careful-this Christmas will be her last.

The best book of the last four. Well told. Good characters. I didn’t guess who did it and the animals save the day!

This series is a good way to regroup! No particular suspense, a cozy set in Virginia horse-country. silly enough to bring balm to the nerves.

Another cozy mystery from the series with Harry and her fur person, Mrs. Murphy, Pewter and Tucker.

Christmastime in Crozet, Virginia is something out of a picture book. Snow on the ground, the beauty of fresh Christmas trees on the lot and a body found among them. Hmmmm....

The tree lot is owned by the Brothers of Love. A monastic group of men whose focus is to provide care for those in need. But are they really what they claim to be. True they have been around for a number of years, but the backgrounds of some of them raise questions.

Meanwhile, a number of prominent men in Crozet seem to by dying off under suspicious circumstances. What is the tie in?

A fun series to read, especially if you have a soft spot for furries and like light, cozy reads.

An interesting little book. I appreciate her feminism and pro gay stance but she's a little off putting with her aggressive southernism.

This was a really cute mystery by RM Brown. Monks involved with a mystery--now that's a new one. She had a good pace and seemed to (for once) not get up on her soapbox on a topic. Maybe that is a product of her advancing years. My favorite part is always when the cats and dog fight and talk amongst themselves. Wouldn't that e great if we knew what they were saying in real life?

Ever go to pick out your Christmas tree and find a dead body under it? Well, Harry did and for some reason, she decided against buying that tree! But who killed the victim and will there be more and why? Can Harry stay out of trouble this Christmas and what can Mrs. Murphy, Tee Tucker and Pewter do to help? If only they could talk!I love Rita Mae Brown's books. They are short, easy to read and I never figure out who did it until the end and reading a book at Christmas time with Christmas time going on is especially nice.
