About this audiobook
Dylan must learn fast-someone just killed her best client with a poisoned gown meant for Dylan. Was it the tall, mysterious hottie in black, who's suddenly everywhere she goes? After all, the first thing Roman Bane says is he doesn't like witches. Is he here to save her, or kill her?
Dylan is barely getting a handle on her new powers when she finds herself surrounded by witches bossing her this way and that, local police nosing about, and wary clients-death by clothing is not good for business. And the solstice is coming . . . a time when witch powers are at their peak. Can Dylan survive the chaos long enough to figure out her new life?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was a fun read/listen.I thought Dylan had a great voice, very snarky and amusing. There were some entertaining characters especially Grandma. Rather a horrible premise - witches can get another’s witch’s power by skinning them alive - didn’t go with the light tone of the novel. I did notice that the author was very fond of characters smacking their lips and fisting their hands on their hips. Slightly spoilt by every chapter in the audio book cutting off abruptly midway through the last word.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this audiobook series. The author provided a great plot and the narrator brought the characters to life. I recommend it.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5paranormal, contemporary-romance, witches, dnf Cutesy southern paranormal mystery revolving around three sisters: the dressmaker, the culinary artist, and the archetypical clueless teenager. This is one instance where I wish that I had not bought it as audio.
