I enjoyed the book and would’ve have continued to save it in order to reread it but the foul language was just too much to listen to the F-word over and over again. It is awful that an author that can produce such wonderful stories spoiled them by using such language. If all of her books are like that then I regret that I will not be reading or listening to anymore.

This is book three in Highland Weddings series and right now my favorite. The reason for it is its heroine and her backstory. As the story opens, I really thought I may not like her, but as I learned more about her, I liked her more and more. I admired her strength and pluck. I thought she held up her own against men or women and her relationship with the hero was so much fun to follow. This was a well plotted and fun story which moved fast and furious. Characters in it were complex, fun and witty and the setting magical as the author paints us time long passed with such details that sets ones imagination into overdrive. If you’re a fan of medieval, men in kilts and tropes in which heroines live up to the name of "hellion", you'll love this one.Melanie for b2bGift copy provided by the publisher for an honest review
