    The enigmatic Mr Reeder investigates eight cases involving baffling burglary and blackmail, mendacious and merciless murderers, cruel convicts and convincing cons, using his criminal mind to solve these unusual and peculiar mysteries. A lot of his inquiries involve Margaret Belman, a very pretty and appealing young lady who lives nearby, and the detective finds himself more and more attracted towards this femme fatale.     • The Strange Case - charity begins at home according to Willie Eiter but when domestic circumstances interfere with his plans murder is the only alternative
    • The Investors - Mr Reeder and his lady friend find themselves in dire circumstances through a false investment scam. Can he rescue the situation, solve the case and declare his love? This time he might be out of his depth!
