      I'm loving this author and this series. I've read the first six books this past week and can't wait to listen to the next. At first, the story seemed to drag but I finally figured out that it was the narration. I sped up the speed to 1.5 which fixed the problem.

      This one caused me to cry a few times, some were happy tears and others anything but. It definitely tugged at my heart.

      This series has me on the fence. I love the characters and the storyline. I don't like the edging into some themes of dominance and submission. Though this author actually manages to handle that without making it the central point of the story, and also doesn't overdo it when abuse or rape is involved.

      Solid 4 stars, and would be 5 if the d/s stuff were more playful.
